RACT

The project focused on refreshing the RACT Member Hub to provide a more modern and user-friendly experience. The aim was to create an intuitive and user-friendly hub that made it easier for members to manage products, track claims, and handle payments seamlessly.

Throughout the project, I worked closely with the business team to define the MVP features, worked with developers and focused on delivering a clean, efficient, and engaging experience for RACT members.

Process

Conducting usability audit

One of the key goals of the redesign was to improve usability based on user feedback. To support this, I carried out a heuristic evaluation of the existing designs. I then put together a list of recommendations, prioritising them by impact and feasibility, and shared these with the team to guide the next steps.

Designing for accessibility and responsiveness

Based on the audit findings, the next focus was on improving accessibility and responsiveness. This involved updates like increasing colour contrast for better readability and creating a responsive design guide for core page templates to ensure the site worked smoothly across devices.

Collaborating with business and development

Throughout the project, I worked closely with the customer success team to make sure the designs met business requirements. At the same time, I have regular check-in with the development team to ensure the designs and interactions were implemented as intended.

Outcome

Members could easily manage their products, track claims, and make payments, all within a more accessible, responsive, and user-friendly digital experience.
